On the initiative of UPECO Company AC Nielsen research agency prepared analytical review of repellents’ market for the first time. Earlier it was only MEMRB Company which did research of this segment of the market. AC Nielsen conducted its first research of the segment in Moscow and Saint – Petersburg.
The information got by AC Nielsen from the scanned data on sales of main trading networks of Moscow and Saint – Petersburg convincingly confirmed the leading role of UPECO Company and its Gardex trade mark. Its share of the market on the basis of cost constituted 44%, whereas the share of Mosquitall brand which got the second place, was only 34%.Thus the jump – off of UPECO Company from its nearest competitor reached 10%.
