The
Salton brand in commemoration of its 13th anniversary has won a glorious victory – it has become the leader at the Russian shoe care market. According to the data of Nielsen* research conducted in March-April, 2011, Salton brand’s market share is 25,2 per cent in terms of value! This indicator of its nearest competitor – Salamander TM, which was permanent leader at the Russian market for more than ten years, is 24 per cent.
It is worth noting that
Salton brand’s market share for the last three years progressively grew in all Russian cities with the population of one or more millions, but maximum growth is seen in Moscow and Saint-Petersburg. According to Nielsen data, Salton’s market share in these two largest Russian cities in spring of 2011 was respectively 27,7 per cent and 24,8 per cent. (Salamander TM’s market shares in Moscow and Saint-Petersburg are 24,3 per cent and 23,6 per cent).
