Raptor. The Leader Always and in Everything!

Raptor is a leader! For ten years this UPECO Company’s brand demonstrates strong leading positions at Russian insecticides’ market. According to the research conducted by ACNielsen, Raptor’s market share in 2011 was 27 per cent, six per cent more than the share of its nearest competitor – Raid TM and 16 per cent more than the share of Mosquitall TM. And according to ACNielsen KAI research, Raptor’s market share in KAI in 2011 was 38 per cent and in “remedies against flying insects” category – 43 per cent. Raid TM represented at the market by a transnational company lags behind Raptor 16 per cent.

Raptor is the best known and favorite brand! The knowledge of Raptor TM is maximum at insecticides’ market. In 2011 the knowledge was 91 per cent. Such high indicator reflects an unqualified leading position of the brand at Russian insecticides’ market.

Raptor grows even when the insecticides’ market falls down! In 2011 Russian insecticides’ market declined 12 per cent, and Raptor mark’s market share grew 5 per cent.

UPECO Company and its Raptor brand achieved such success thanks to several factors. “Firstly, the distribution was widened in all categories, - Konstantin Petrov, Raptor TM’s brand manager, noted. – All in all, today our brand demonstrates high distribution indicators at the market in general, and is a leader in “remedies against flying insects” and “anti-moth” categories. Secondly, UPECO Company’s investment into TV advertising came to good: the share of Raptor TM’s advertising and contacts with consumers through TV advertising is 2,5 times more than its competitors’. Thirdly, the sales of Raptor device with an ergonomical design grew substantially and new anti-moth remedies were successfully launched”.

No doubt, well – organized work of Marketing, Sales, Finance and Supply Chains’Management departments also helped Raptor’s achievements. The season of spring and summer of 2011 was successful for the Raptor brand!
